Tracking all of the Browns’ undrafted free agent signings following the 2024 NFL Draft
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The 2024 NFL Draft has come and gone for the Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland selected six players in the 2024 NFL Draft that you can take a look at here. Now, their attention turns to undrafted free agents, so that they can fill out the rest of their 90-man roster. Cleveland has not been shy in adding undrafted players in past years with some even making the roster.

Last season, we watched S Ronnie Hickman and LB Mohamoud Diabate make the roster after not being selected in the 2023 NFL Draft. Cleveland will invite some rookies to their rookie minicamp, but that does not mean they received a deal.

Reported undrafted free agents set to join the Browns

OL Javon Cohen, Miami

Cohen started his career at left guard with Alabama where he started two seasons before transferring to Miami. During his senior season at Miami, Cohen started 12 games and allowed 12 quarterback hurries, 2 quarterback hits, and his first college sack allowed in 771 snaps.

A 6-foot-4, 324-pound player who has spent time at both guard spots. Cleveland acted fast to sign Cohen, who many believed would be drafted.

LB Winston Reid, Weber State

Reid was productive in his last two seasons at Weber State and totaled 113 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and one interception as a senior. The new UDFA add is listed at 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds.

CB Chris Edmonds, Arizona State

Edmonds was a standout player at Sanford before transferring to Arizona State for the final two years of his five-year college career. Edmonds recorded 11 interceptions in college and had three seasons with at least a trio of them. A length 6-foot-2 cornerback that weighs in at 215 pounds.

OT Lorenzo Thompson, Rhode Island

Another addition for the trenches, somewhere that the Browns have invested heavily in during this draft cycle. A big 6-foot-7 body that is a little underweight at 293 pounds. Thompson played at Rhode Island for six seasons.

RB Aidan Robbins, BYU

Robbins spent two seasons at Louisvilke before transferring to UNLV where he broke out in 2022 with 1,009 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games. Robbins played his 2024 season at BYU and appeared in eight games with 485 rushing yards. A big running back at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds.

CB Dyshawn Gales, South Dakota State

Gales brings prototypical size to the cornerback position and was a player who spent five years in college. Over the last two seasons, Gale recorded five total interceptions as a starter for the Jackrabbits.

WR Ahmarean Brown, South Carolina

Brown spent his first two seasons at Georgia Tech with his best college season coming as a freshman with 396 receiving yards. Never a focal point of a passing game, Brown could be a guy who tries to make the practice squad. An undersized wideout at 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds.

TE Treyton Welch, Wyoming

It was a surprise that the Browns did not select a tight end in the draft, so there is a chance that Welch could at least be a practice squad guy for them. Welch has played a ton of football, 43 games in college to be exact. He recorded 308 yards receiving each of the last two seasons.

OL Jalen Sundell, North Dakota State

Sundell brings some versatility with a background at both center and left tackle. He was an FCS All-American in 2023 and has a common build at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds.
