'Nole is going to be at his best,' Rome Masters winner Alexander Zverev bestows faith in Novak Djokovic to come good at 2024 Roland Garros

German tennis ace Alexander Zverev , who recently clinched the title in Rome as he beat Nicolas Jarry in the final, is confident about Novak Djokovic ‘s chances at the 2024 Roland Garros despite the Serbian’s struggles in the 2024 season. Zverev feels that Djokovic will hit his form at the second Grand Slam tournament as and when needed.

As Djokovic has not been able to live up to his reputation of winning titles in the 2024 season, as a result there are apprehensions about his performance at the upcoming clay Grand Slam. The Serbian playing without a proper coaching team has also not worked well for Djokovic.

Nevertheless, despite all the odds, Zverev feels the 24-time Grand Slam champion will up his game at the Grand Slam tournament. The German ace, who has pushed himself as one of the contenders for the elusive title following his title-winning campaign in Rome, believes Djokovic will be at his best in Paris.

Alexander Zverev also talks about Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz’s chances at the French Open

Not just Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev also talked about two of the youngest superstars in men’s tennis- Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. With the two players still recovering from their respective injuries, Zverev gave his take about their chances at the 2024 Roland Garros.

The German ace believes that it will totally depend on their health. Zverev said that if they come to the tournament completely healthy, they will surely be the best players.

The other two, they just depend on health. If they're healthy, they're two of the best players in the world, for sure, and there's no question about it. Whether or not they are healthy, I cannot answer because I don't know. I'm not inside their body. I saw Jannik posted a picture of him practicing again, so I’m assuming he’s fine and feeling good on the tennis court. Alexander Zverev said.

Notably, Sinner and Alcaraz are out of action with injuries. While the Italian has been facing problems with his hip, Alcaraz’s forearm has been troubling him for a while. The two players chose to skip the Rome Masters to recover completely before the French Open. While there is no official update from either of the two players, they look certain to take part in the Grand Slam tournament.
